PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Proposed mission statement for the committee:  Professional Development Committee (PDC) is a committee that consists of representatives from faculty, administration, and classified. Through its promotion of professional development activities, which include, but are not limited to, flex-day activities, conference funding, training and special projects, the PDC works toward meeting Santa Monica College's six institutional goals: nurturing student success and academic excellence, forming and sustaining a community of mutual respect, promoting the innovative and efficient use of technology, and supporting community partnerships and facilities. The PDC is responsible for the professional development funds provided to the college through AB1725.
